Physician Assistant- Certified
Devin Haertling, PA-C

Devin Haertling, PA-C is a Physician Assistant with special interest in Sports Medicine. As a Physician Assistant and former Certified Athletic Trainer at the Orthopaedic Center, he is able to provide Orthopaedic assessments, follow-up care, treatments and education for patients.

Devin graduated from Saint Louis University, St.Louis, MO., with a Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. He belongs to the American Academy of Physician Assistants [AAPA] and the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants [IAPA]. During his studies at Saint Louis University, he received the Award of Excellence for Outstanding Achievement and was a member of the Alpha Eta School of Allied Health Professions National Honor Society.

Devin has a weekly IOVERA clinic at the Mt. Vernon location. IOVERA is a safe, innovative pain relief treatment administered to a patient's knee prior to having total knee replacement surgery. It uses extreme cold to stop nerves from sending pain signals to your brain. The effect is immediate, and can last up to 90 days.

The IOVERA system is a handheld device that lets your treating provider apply just the right amount of extreme cold to targeted nerves in the leg - the ones causing pain. This process delivers immediate pain relief in the time it takes for a routine office visit, and does not cause pain. IOVERA does not contain medicine, is safe, and does not destroy any surrounding tissue.

Devin has clinic at the Mt. Vernon and Pinckneyville locations and is on the OrthoExpress Team. To schedule an appointment with Devin, please click here.
